MIMH has many on-going research activities and community intervention programs in psychiatry, psychology, disaster management and psychosocial rehabilitation. There are also many research projects being done currently in adult, geriatric, adolescent and child mental health. Every post-graduate student is assigned and completes a thesis on a mental health related issue. Others are involved in many short-term or long term research activities
